Winter tours

We organize Northern Lights and photography tours in Saariselkä-Inari area in Lapland. The tours only happen if there is a good chance to see the auroras!​ This means that the weather forecast is clear and good aurora activity is expected.

If the weather is cloudy in Saariselkä, we search for a clear sky elsewhere, and usually, we succeed. When the auroras appear, we will be happy to teach you how to make beautiful aurora pictures with your own camera.

Ice fishing is a genuine northern leisure, which combines the enjoyment of free time, the exquisite landscapes of Lapland and, with good luck, a great catch. On our ice fishing excursion, you can enjoy the peace of nature, wonderful sceneries and the rattle and warmth of a campfire.

Join us as we embark on a journey across the pristine, snow-covered landscapes to a frozen lake where we will experience ice fishing. The snowmobile ride itself is an adventure, offering an adrenaline-pumping ride over the white terrain. Arriving at our fishing spot, you'll be provided with all the necessary equipment and a brief tutorial on ice fishing techniques. Drill a hole through the thick ice, drop your line, and patiently await the thrill of a catch beneath the frozen surface.

This private tour includes a picnic lunch by the open fire and hot drinks.

The 1h drive starting from Saariselkä passes through beautiful lake landscapes. In Inari, we visit the Sami museum, where there is a lot to see for the whole family, and a reindeer herder home, where we can feed and photograph the free-grazing reindeer. There is a small gift shop where you can find jewelry and handicrafts made by the mother of the family. You can also buy reindeer antlers. During the day you will learn about Sámi culture and reindeer husbandry. We will also enjoy lunch.

Hop onto one of our snowmobiles and let the adventure begin as you drive through the enchanting Arctic landscapes. Our route takes you through snowy forests, frozen rivers and small lakes. Your journey culminates at the legendary Lake Inari, Finland's third-largest lake, where you'll be greeted by a breathtaking winter wonderland.
